I've got my cupid, where is yours?

According to Wikipedia Valentines Day is “The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines." Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline and the figure of the winged Cupid.”

Do you like my Valentine?
It's for you!

Yes, you!

You take time from your day to look into mine. For that I love you.

I also want to apologize to you. You may notice that I am behind on my blog reading. You may wonder why I am not responding to your comments via email. I have neglected you, and for that I am truly sorry. I won't bore you with the details of my deadlines at work. I will just say, you are important to me and I haven't forgotten about you.

Romantic Plans

This is the first Valentines Day since Jeff and I reversed roles. Now that he is the stay-at-home parent he deserves much love, respect and pampering.

How do you pamper a man?
This is my plan.

First I will go to the specialty beer store and select a rare and tasty beer that will be the benchmark by which he compares all future beers. Next I will rent an action packed movie with great special effects and large explosions. Finally I will buy chocolate. Nothing fancy, probably a very large bag of peanut M&M’s.

After the girls go to sleep we will open the beer and cuddle in our theater room. I won’t complain when he watches his movie at volumes not usually allowed. I will make sure he always has an ample supply of M&M’s and beer. I’m pretty sure he will love it.

What are your Valentines Day plans?

Sounds perfect.
We will, clean the garage, clean the garage, attend the pre-school sundae valentine party, take a bike ride, have grilled cheese and bean and bacon soup (a fav of his) and then cuddle up after the kids are in bed.
A perfect day! :-)
Happy V-day!

Beer and M&M's. You got the important things. My hubby's not home yet from his class. But when he finally gets here I'll be asleep on the couch and we'll drag our tired selves up to bed.

Happy V-day sweetie.
My plans are to pack for a trip we are taking and then cuddle and do the whole foot rub things.
Enjoy your hubby and your night!

Tomorrow night - dinner and an expensive bottle of wine in front of the fire after Graham goes to bed - can't wait!
